Installing your optical USB mouse

Please do so and follow the on-screen instructions for installing the required driver or set the driver path as �Windows\system� or the other path that the driver located. � The optical technology can precisely detect the mouse motion on most surfaces. Avoid using the optical USB mouse on any reflective, transparant. metallic or complex-pattern surface. Installing the driver software The hot keys and scroll wheel can be programmed as shortcut keys that provide quick, one-press access to programs, files or commands. For this you have to install the driver software.The driver supports Windows® 98 / 2000 / ME / XP.

1 Remove any existing mouse drivers completely. 2 Insert the driver CD-ROM into the computer CD / DVD drive. > The application starts automatically. � If the apllication does not start automatically: go to �My computer�, select the driver CD-ROM and double click on the setup icon. 3 Follow the instructions in the install shield. Select �4D browser�. 4 Restart the computer.

Programming the hot keys and scroll wheel 1 Double click the mouse icon in the task bar. > The �Mouse settings� menu appears. 2 Select �Wheel� or �Button� and select the desired settings. 3 Select �Apply� to save the settings. 4 Select �OK�. Note:To use the shortcut function of the scroll wheel, you have to press it.
