Having purchased a 1994 Kenwood music system from a Charity shop in 2013 (it was a high end product in its day), I found myself not quite knowing where to plug in what, and how to do this, that and the next thing. I needed a Manual, and after failure with another online 'Manual provider' I found Owner Manuals dot com. Well, I wasn't sure, but it was only $5, and if things didn't work out, I wouldn't have lost much...
But things DID work out. After paying my childrens inheritance money, $4.99, I was sent a Manual for my Kenwood System very quickly. Alas, it was in German, and being Scottish, I could not read it or get my system in order from it...a rapid email to them brought the English Manual in short order, and my retro-system was and IS up and running in it's regulation settings.
I am very grateful to http://www.owner-manuals.com for their quick service and for even having such an obsolete Manual in the first place! If you need a Manual for ANYTHING, try here first. I wouldn't be surprised if I bought a 1928 Marconi radio, and got the user Manual for THAT here too!

Thanks so much for the Owner's manual for my Sony PS - FL1. I had purchased the turntable off of eBay. It came in and looked great. Packed well and appeared to be great. I balanced and aligned the tone are and hooked it up. When trying to play a record the tone are would move to the right place and just before it would drop to play it moved back off the edge of the record before touching down. I searched the net for an answer to this issue. No luck. Then I purchased the owners manual and sure enough there was a place to adjust where the stylus touched down. That adjustment solved the problem and saved me a $35 feet to have the player checked out. The manual is well written and easy to understand. It is a must have for anyone with this front loading Sony turntable.

Storing an FTS-program
1 Load a disc and go to Stop mode.
Audio Disk Mode
G To repeat the currently playing track, press REPEAT. â¤ REPEAT TRACK appears on the display. G To repeat the entire disc, press REPEAT a second time. â¤ REPEAT ALL appears on the display. G To exit Repeat mode, press REPEAT a third time. 2

To repeat or loop a sequence: G Press REPEAT A-B at your chosen starting point. â¤ A appears on the player display. G Press REPEAT A-B again at your chosen end point. â¤ A-B appears on the display, and the repeat sequence begins. G To exit the sequence, press REPEAT A-B again.
Use w (down cursor) to go to the list of available tracks. Use t and u (left/right cursor) to select tracks from the list. To go directly to any track, enter the track number using the numerical keys 0-9. Store each track by pressing OK. â¤ The track numbers will be added to the list of selected tracks. â¤ The number of tracks and the playing time of the program will be shown on the player display and the audio screen.
Plays the first 10 seconds of each track on the disc. G Press SCAN. G To continue play at your chosen track, press SCAN again or press 2 PLAY.
When your FTS program is complete, press 2 PLAY to start play, the FTS program will be automatically memorized. G Press FTS or use the t u (left/right cursor) to set FTS to ON or OFF.
Erasing a track from an FTS-program
FTS (Favourite Track Selection) - Audio CD only
- The FTS feature allows you to store your favourite tracks for a particular disc in the player memory. - Each FTS program can contain 20 tracks. - Each time an FTS program is played it will be placed on top of the list. When the list is full and a new program is added, the last program in the list will be removed from the list. - The selections can be called up and played at any time. - For storing an FTS program On Screen Display operation is required.
Use w (down cursor) to go to the list of selected tracks. Use t and u (left/right cursor) to select the track number you wish to erase. To go directly to any track, enter the track number using the numerical keys 0-9. Press OK. â¤ The track number will be erased from the list of selected tracks.
Erasing the complete program
G Use w (down cursor) to select Clear All and press OK. â¤ The complete FTS program for the disc will be erased.
