Having purchased a 1994 Kenwood music system from a Charity shop in 2013 (it was a high end product in its day), I found myself not quite knowing where to plug in what, and how to do this, that and the next thing. I needed a Manual, and after failure with another online 'Manual provider' I found Owner Manuals dot com. Well, I wasn't sure, but it was only $5, and if things didn't work out, I wouldn't have lost much...
But things DID work out. After paying my childrens inheritance money, $4.99, I was sent a Manual for my Kenwood System very quickly. Alas, it was in German, and being Scottish, I could not read it or get my system in order from it...a rapid email to them brought the English Manual in short order, and my retro-system was and IS up and running in it's regulation settings.
I am very grateful to http://www.owner-manuals.com for their quick service and for even having such an obsolete Manual in the first place! If you need a Manual for ANYTHING, try here first. I wouldn't be surprised if I bought a 1928 Marconi radio, and got the user Manual for THAT here too!

3.4 Anschlie�en und Laden
Schlie�en Sie Ihren Player an Ihren Computer an, lädt das Gerät.
3.4.1 Verwenden des USB-Kabels
1 Schlie�en Sie das im Lieferumfang enthaltene USB-Kabel an den Mini-USB-Port, den Sie unten an Ihrem neuen Player finden, an und stecken Sie das andere Ende am USB-Port Ihres PCs ein. 2 Haben Sie Ihren Player an Ihren PC angeschlossen, lädt das Gerät. 3 Vor erstmaliger Verwendung Ihres neuen Players sollten Sie das Gerät für mindestens 5 Stunden aufladen. Der Akku** ist in 4 Stunden voll (100 %) aufgeladen; bei einer Ladezeit von 2 Stunden ist der Akku zu 80 % aufgeladen. Hinweis Der Player ist dann voll aufgeladen, wenn anstelle der Lade-Animation das Symbol angezeigt wird. Haben Sie Ihren Player voll aufgeladen, so kommen Sie in den Genuss von bis zu 10 Stunden* Musikwiedergabe.
3.4.2 Anzeige der Batteriekapazität auf Ihrem Player
Die ungefähre Akkukapazität wird Ihnen mit folgenden Symbolen angezeigt: 100% 75% 50% 25% 0%
Hinweis Ist die Kapazität sehr gering, blinkt eine entsprechende Anzeige auf, um Sie darauf hinzuweisen. Ihr Player schaltet sich dann in weniger als 60 Sekunden aus. Von Ihrem Player werden aber alle Einstellungen sowie unbeendete Aufnahmen gespeichert, bevor er sich ausschaltet.

Wiederaufladbare Batterien verfügen über eine begrenzte Anzahl von Ladezyklen und müssen möglicherweise ersetzt werden. Die Batterielebensdauer und die Anzahl der Ladezyklen variieren je nach Verwendung und Einstellungen.
