 SX-PR100 TECHNICS Owner's Manual by Bob Anderson;
This manual covers the main equipment features only. While it also includes the procedure for saving and loading from the now long obsolete memory cards it does not mention the how to operate with the optional floppy drive interface so I am still at a loss about how to use this! Note that there is a separate manual covering the MIDI interface and programming via the keyboard, not included in this download. You will also need to get hold of this if you want to use the MIDI interface properly. Basically there is little difference between this manual and the free to download manual for the similar PR60 model.

Blender
â覧 Never fill the blender jar with ingredients that are hotter than 80cC. â覧 To prevent spillage, do not put more than 1.5 litres of liquid in the blender jar, especially when you are processing at a high speed. Do not put more than 1.25 litres in the blender jar when you are processing hot liquids or ingredients that tend to foam. â覧 Never forget to place the sealing ring on the blade unit before you assemble the blender jar, otherwise leakage will occur. â覧 Always make sure the lid is properly closed and the measuring cup has been inserted properly before you switch the appliance on.

Filter
â覧 Never fill the blender jar with ingredients that are hotter than 80cC. â覧 Never overload the filter. Do not put more than 125g of dried soy beans or 150g of fruit in the filter at the same time. â覧 Always make sure the lid is properly closed and the measuring cup has been inserted properly before you switch the appliance on. â覧 Cut the fruit into smaller pieces before putting it in the filter. â覧 Soak dried ingredients, such as soy beans, before putting them in the filter.

Built-in safety lock
This feature ensures that you can only switch the appliance on when the accessories have been placed on the motor unit in the correct position.When the accessories have been assembled correctly, the built-in safety lock will be deblocked.

Before first use
Thoroughly clean the parts which will come in contact with food before you use the appliance for the first time (see chapter 'Cleaning').

Using the appliance Control knob
Your blender is equipped with a special control knob with an illuminated ring that lights up when the appliance is running. You can set the control knob to any speed between MIN and MAX or, even easier, use one of the three quick-select buttons: Smoothie, Ice and Pulse.

C

â覧 If you want to use a speed between MIN and MAX, turn the control knob to the desired position.
