Having purchased a 1994 Kenwood music system from a Charity shop in 2013 (it was a high end product in its day), I found myself not quite knowing where to plug in what, and how to do this, that and the next thing. I needed a Manual, and after failure with another online 'Manual provider' I found Owner Manuals dot com. Well, I wasn't sure, but it was only $5, and if things didn't work out, I wouldn't have lost much...
But things DID work out. After paying my childrens inheritance money, $4.99, I was sent a Manual for my Kenwood System very quickly. Alas, it was in German, and being Scottish, I could not read it or get my system in order from it...a rapid email to them brought the English Manual in short order, and my retro-system was and IS up and running in it's regulation settings.
I am very grateful to http://www.owner-manuals.com for their quick service and for even having such an obsolete Manual in the first place! If you need a Manual for ANYTHING, try here first. I wouldn't be surprised if I bought a 1928 Marconi radio, and got the user Manual for THAT here too!

Thanks so much for the Owner's manual for my Sony PS - FL1. I had purchased the turntable off of eBay. It came in and looked great. Packed well and appeared to be great. I balanced and aligned the tone are and hooked it up. When trying to play a record the tone are would move to the right place and just before it would drop to play it moved back off the edge of the record before touching down. I searched the net for an answer to this issue. No luck. Then I purchased the owners manual and sure enough there was a place to adjust where the stylus touched down. That adjustment solved the problem and saved me a $35 feet to have the player checked out. The manual is well written and easy to understand. It is a must have for anyone with this front loading Sony turntable.
IMPORTANT! â This system is designed for regular discs. Therefore, do not use any accessories such as disc stabiliser rings or disc treatment sheets, etc., as offered on the market, because they may jam the changer mechanism. â Do not load more than one disc onto each tray.
Basic playback controls
Load discs (page 3 â P4).
To play all discs on the disc trays â Press Ã . Ã
OR In stop mode, press CD to select a disc tray to begin, then press Ã . Ã
â All the available discs will play once, then stop. To play the selected disc only â Press one of the 5 DISC DIRECT PLAY (DISC 1~5) buttons (or CD 1~5 on remote). â The selected disc will play once, then stop. To select a desired track â Press Ã or Ã« repeatedly until the desired track is displayed. â During random play (shuffle mode), pressing Ã will not affect the current playback.
This system is able to play: â All pre-recorded audio CDs â All finalised audio CDR and audio CDRW discs â MP3-CDs (CD-ROMs with MP3 tracks)

Press OPEN/CLOSE 0 1 button to open disc tray 1. Load a disc with the label side facing up. For double-sided discs, load the side you want to play facing up. Press OPEN/CLOSE 0 1 button again to close the disc tray. â âREADINGâ is displayed. The selected disc tray, total number of tracks and the playing time will appear on the display. Repeat steps 1~3 for loading discs onto the disc trays 2~5. Notes: â To ensure good system performance, wait until the disc trays completely read the disc(s) before proceeding. â Only one tray can be opened at each time. If you open the second tray before closing the first tray, the first tray will automatically close before the second tray opens.
To search for a particular passage during playback â Press and hold Ã or Ã¡ and release it when the desired passage is located. â During searching, the volume will be reduced. For MP3 disc, the volume will be muted. To replace discs without interrupting playback â Press OPEN/CLOSE 0 buttons of the inactive disc trays (refer to âLoading discsâ). For example, if currently disc tray 1 is playing, you can replace the discs on disc tray 2~5. To interrupt playback â Press Ã . Ã
â To resume normal playback, repeat the above. To stop playback â Press Ã. â If the system remains in stop mode for 30 minutes, it will switch to Eco Power standby mode.
