Mackie HR824 make extensive use of surface mount devices (SMD). Service on the HR824 must
only be undertaken by experienced service technicians with the right tools, experience and patience to perform surface mount rework when needed.
This Service manual is very well scanned and its clean to read, no any anti-theft words that un-english could understand. I got my CCD600 working with this manual and itΒ΄s clear shematics :)
I was very pleased with the service provided and was surprised at how good the quality was of the manual. I thought it may be a third generation copy or so, but it is as good as the websites that charge 3 times this much. I needed a service manual as the display on my oscilloscope was very dim. I thought I'd give owner-manuals.com a try, as they advertised a huge number of manuals. Sure enough they had one listed. I bought it hoping it would be useful... actually, I bought it hoping it would be readable! I've had manuals from online sources in the past, and been very disappointed. Not this time! An excellent manual, complete, and very readable. Using it I fixed my 'scope, and as such the manual was an investment that paid off manyfold. Do I have any complaints? One very minor one - The circuit diagrams could have been scanned at a higher resolution, as some of the details were a little difficult to make out - not impossible, just not as easy as my old eyes would like! Overall, I'm very satisfied with my manual, and I will certainly be using this company again. Well done.

HQ4850 The green LED â+â goes on. If the cells are almost empty the red LED â-â will go on as well. When the red LED goes out, there is enough capacity for one cordless shave of approx. 3 minutes. After 60 minutes the green LED starts to blink, to indicate that the cells are full. The signals during shaving are described under âALLâ. HQ3870 + HQ4870 One of the LEDs of the capacity indicator will start to blink. If the cells are almost empty, the block â20â will be red. When it turns green, there is enough capacity for one cordless shave. Each time when another 20 % of the full charge has been reached, the next block of the indicator will start to blink. After 60 minutes, the â100â block starts to blink. This LED stops to blink as soon as shaver is fully charged. If charging is continued (in the 25 mA mode now), the IC will force the PM to supply 1000 mA for half a sec. every 10 secs to compensate for the continuous burning of the LEDs. When switching on and off, the actual capacity is shown for approx. 8 seconds. After shaving cordless with a fully charged shaver for some time, the â100â LED will be no longer visible. Then, the other blocks will gradually disappear one by one. The next signal is described under âALLâ. HQ4890 The green LED goes on and one segment of the LCD will start to blink. If the cells are empty, this will be the â20â segment. The red LED will remain on until there is enough capacity in the cells for one cordless shave of approx. 3 minutes. Each time when another 20 % of the full charge has been reached the next segment will start to blink. After 60 minutes the word âFULLâ and the green LED start to blink. When shaving cordless with a fully charged shaver, first âFULLâ will disappear. After some time the â100â segment will disappear, etc. Finally, a blinking â20â segment will show together with the red LED, as described below. ALL During discharging the capacity counter counts down proportional to the motor current. When the counter reaches the âzeroâ state, a Nearly Empty Indication (NEI) is given by the red LED. After the shaver has been switched off the red LED will blink for 4 seconds. If the shaver is not in use, the counter will count down at a slow rate during approx. 100 or 200 days, to compensate for the self-discharge of the cells and the power consumption of the ICs (100 days at Tamb>35ËC, 200 days at Tamb<35ËC).
