Shaving heads • Every 2 months. B Disassemble the shaving unit in order to clean the shaving heads. Remove the shaving heads holder. Clean each shaving head (cutter and guard) separately. This is essential since the cutter has been ground with the guard. If you should accidentally mix up the guards and cutters, it may take several weeks before optimal shaving performance is restored. Clean each cutter carefully by brushing in the direction of the arrow only, using the short bristled brush. Brush the guard clean. You have to lubricate the central point of the inside of the guard only if your skin is quite dry, or if you have degreased the shaving unit. Reassemble the shaving unit. You have to lubricate the upper side of the shaving heads only if your skin is quite dry or if you have degreased the shaving unit.
