Do not use this appliance for other than intended use described in this manual.This appliance may be used for heating water only. 16. This appliance is intended for household use ONLY; it is not for commercial or industrial use. 17. Any service of the Kettle should be performed by the retail location where it was purchased. 18. To disconnect, press the ON (I) /OFF (O) button to the "OFF" (O) position, then remove plug from electrical outlet. Remove plug by gripping plug body and pulling it from the outlet. Never yank or twist cord to unplug. 19. Do not move the appliance while it is in use. 20. Kettle base is intended for use only with this Kettle. Do not substitute any other Kettle. 21. To prevent scalds, do not force lid when closing or opening. Hot steam trapped under the lid could burn your fingers.
