Having purchased a 1994 Kenwood music system from a Charity shop in 2013 (it was a high end product in its day), I found myself not quite knowing where to plug in what, and how to do this, that and the next thing. I needed a Manual, and after failure with another online 'Manual provider' I found Owner Manuals dot com. Well, I wasn't sure, but it was only $5, and if things didn't work out, I wouldn't have lost much...
But things DID work out. After paying my childrens inheritance money, $4.99, I was sent a Manual for my Kenwood System very quickly. Alas, it was in German, and being Scottish, I could not read it or get my system in order from it...a rapid email to them brought the English Manual in short order, and my retro-system was and IS up and running in it's regulation settings.
I am very grateful to http://www.owner-manuals.com for their quick service and for even having such an obsolete Manual in the first place! If you need a Manual for ANYTHING, try here first. I wouldn't be surprised if I bought a 1928 Marconi radio, and got the user Manual for THAT here too!

Press OPENâ¢CLOSE to close the disc tray. â "READING DISC" scrolls. The selected disc tray, total number of tracks and the playing time will appear on the display. â A lighted button indicates that a disc is loaded on the disc tray. â For MP3 disc, the name of the first album and title will be scrolled through the display once and followed by "AXX TXXX". Notes: â Load the discs with the label side facing up. â To ensure good system performance, wait until the disc tray completely reads the disc(s) before proceeding. â For MP3 disc, the disc reading time may exceed 10 seconds due to the large number of songs compiled into one disc.
Replacing discs during playback 1 2
Press DISC CHANGE. â The disc tray will open without interrupting current playback. To change the inner disc, press DISC CHANGE again. â "CHANGING DISC" is displayed and the disc will stop playing. â The disc tray will close to retrieve the inner disc, then reopen with the inner disc accessible.
Selecting a desired track/passage
To search for a particular passage during playback â Press and hold ALBUM-/+ 5 6 and release it when the desired passage is located. â During searching, the volume will be reduced. To select a desired track â Press TITLE-/+Â¡ / â¢ repeatedly until the desired track is displayed. â If playback is stopped, press ÃÃ
to start playback.
To play current disc on the disc tray â Press ÃÃ
. â The current discs will play once, then stop. â During playback, the selected disc tray, track number and elapsed playing time of the current track are displayed. â For MP3 disc, TITLE is shown. For mixed mode discs, only one mode will be selected for playback depending on the recording format. To play the selected disc only â In CD mode, press DISC 1/2/3 (or CD 1/2/3 on the remote control). â The selected disc will play once, then stop. To interrupt playback â Press ÃÃ
. â The current track time flashes. â To resume playback, press ÃÃ
again. To stop playback â Press STOP9. For MP3-CD â During playback, press DISPLAY to show the album and title name.
