Having bought a pre-owned Sony FM stereo tuner through eBay, it came without any manuals. It soon became clear that to get the best from this excellent tuner I needed a decent manual because much of the operation was not intuitive to a newboy to hi fi like me. I managed to download the official Sony multi-lingual manual from Owner-Manuals.com with no problem at all - a really quick and easy service. I'm very glad I did because I found out all the operations of the tuner and was then able to not only set it up quickly but also to get much more from it that poke-and-hope trialling would ever achieve. In my book $4.99 very well spent.

PAL â Select this if the connected TV set is PAL system. It will change the video signal of an NTSC disc and output to PAL format. NTSC â Select this if the connected TV set is NTSC system. It will change the video signal of a PAL video disc and output to NTSC system. Multi â Select this if the connected TV set is compatible with both NTSC and PAL (multi system). The output format will be consistent with the video signal of the disc.
Step 3: Setting language preference
You can select your preferred language settings so that this DVD Mini Hi-Fi System will automatically switch to the language for you whenever you load a disc. If the language selected is not available on the disc, the language set by default will be used instead. But the menu language of the DVD Mini Hi-Fi System cannot be changed once selected.
Select an item and press OK. To remove the menu Press SYSTEM MENU.
In disc mode, stop playback and press SYSTEM MENU. Press 1 / 2 / 5 / 4 keys on the remote control to select your preferred option. â Move to âPreference Pageâ and press 4. â Move to one of the following and press 2. â Audio (discâs soundtrack) â Subtitle (discâs subtitles) â Disc Menu (on screen menu)
Press 5 / 4 to select a language and press OK. Repeat steps 2~3 for other settings. To remove the menu Press SYSTEM MENU.
