Having purchased a 1994 Kenwood music system from a Charity shop in 2013 (it was a high end product in its day), I found myself not quite knowing where to plug in what, and how to do this, that and the next thing. I needed a Manual, and after failure with another online 'Manual provider' I found Owner Manuals dot com. Well, I wasn't sure, but it was only $5, and if things didn't work out, I wouldn't have lost much...
But things DID work out. After paying my childrens inheritance money, $4.99, I was sent a Manual for my Kenwood System very quickly. Alas, it was in German, and being Scottish, I could not read it or get my system in order from it...a rapid email to them brought the English Manual in short order, and my retro-system was and IS up and running in it's regulation settings.
I am very grateful to http://www.owner-manuals.com for their quick service and for even having such an obsolete Manual in the first place! If you need a Manual for ANYTHING, try here first. I wouldn't be surprised if I bought a 1928 Marconi radio, and got the user Manual for THAT here too!

Thanks so much for the Owner's manual for my Sony PS - FL1. I had purchased the turntable off of eBay. It came in and looked great. Packed well and appeared to be great. I balanced and aligned the tone are and hooked it up. When trying to play a record the tone are would move to the right place and just before it would drop to play it moved back off the edge of the record before touching down. I searched the net for an answer to this issue. No luck. Then I purchased the owners manual and sure enough there was a place to adjust where the stylus touched down. That adjustment solved the problem and saved me a $35 feet to have the player checked out. The manual is well written and easy to understand. It is a must have for anyone with this front loading Sony turntable.

5 Press CLOCK/TIMER again to store the setting. â¢ The clock starts. â¢ To exit without storing the setting, press Ã on the system.
â¢ The system can switch on to CD, TUNER, or TAPE 2 mode automatically at a preset time. It can serve as an alarm to wake you up. â¢ Before setting the timer, make sure the clock is set correctly. â¢ The timer will always be switched on once it is set. â¢ The volume of the timer will increase from the minimum level until the volume level before the set is switched to standby mode. 1 Press and hold CLOCK/TIMER for more than 2 seconds to select timer mode. â¢ âAM 12:00â or â00:00" or the last timer setting starts flashing depending on whether you have selected 12- or 24-hour mode. â¢ The TIMER starts flashing. â¢ The selected source is lit while other available sources are flashing. 2 Press CD, TUNER or TAPE to select the desired source. â¢ Before selecting CD or TAPE, make sure a CD or tape is loaded in the CD tray or tape deck 2. 3 Press Ã or Ã¡ on the system to set the hour for the timer to start. 4 Press Ã or Ã« on the system to set the minute for the timer to start.

You can view the clock (if it is set) if the system is in Standby mode or when any sound source is selected (CD, TUNER, etc.). The clock will be displayed for about 7 seconds. â¢ Press CLOCK/TIMER briefly (or CLOCK on the remote control). â¢ "PM 10:38 or 22:38" (the current time) will be displayed depending on whether you have selected 12- or 24-hour mode. â¢ "--:--" will be displayed if the : clock is not set.
The clock can be set in either 12- or 24hour mode, e.g. "AM 12:00" or "00:00". Before setting the clock, you must be in the View Clock mode. 1 Press CLOCK/TIMER to select clock mode. 2 Press PROG (on the system only) to select 12- and 24- hour mode. â¢ If 12-hour mode is selected, "AM 12:00" starts flashing. â¢ If 24-hour mode is selected, "00:00" starts flashing. 3 Set the hour with Ã or Ã¡ on the system. 4 Set the minute with Ã or Ã« on the system.
Note: â When the system goes into low power standby mode, the clock setting will not be displayed.
