The Philips scope is of excellent quality, longevity and build and had a couple of faults
when it was passed to me. Having the CCT diagrams is a blessing.
I have fixed the problems and also modded the scope to my requirements.
I have built a 24v Li-Ion pack for portable use from old but good laptop batts.
it is working beautifully and I am well pleased. Keep up the good work Guys.

The manual was made available promptly. I is a clean scan of the original. I had no problem downloading it. The scan was well centered and cleanly formatted. It is as good a product as can be had without being the original document.

Tape Operation / Recording
Preparation for recording 1 2
Load a recordable tape into tape deck 1 with full spool to the left. Prepare the source to be recorded. CD 1/2/3 â load the disc(s). TUNER â tune to the desired radio station. TAPE â load the prerecorded tape into tape deck 2 with the full spool to the left. AUX â connect external equipment. When recording is in progress â REC starts flashing. q It is not possible to listen to another source. q It is not possible to activate the timer function during recording or tape dubbing.
CD Synchronised start recording
Press CD 1/2/3 to select the disc. q You can programme the tracks in the order you want them to be recorded (refer to âCD Operation - Programming the disc tracksâ).

Press q on tape deck 1 to start recording. â The disc will start playback automatically. To stop recording
q Press 70 on tape deck 1, then press Ã to stop disc playback. Note: â During CD synchronised start recording, do not fast forward/rewind the tape in tape deck 2.

Dubbing tapes 1
Load the prerecorded tape in tape deck 2. q Make sure both tapes have their full spool to the left.
Press CD 1/2/3 , TUNER or AUX to select the source.
q You can connect a microphone to record the mixed sound (refer to âKaraoke - Microphone Mixingâ).
