Whilst this is a photo copy, and some of the pages are a little askew, it was all readable and intact. A real bonus finding an old manual for a classic piece of kit that no other site had.
It was easy done, and I got exactly what I was looking for.

CD Synchro Start Recording 1
Load a blank tape into tape deck 2 and a disc into a disc tray. 2 Press CD to select CD mode. Â¶ You can programme the tracks in the order you want them to be recorded (see Programming Tracks). If not, select the disc by pressing CD (CD 1â¢2â¢3) and the tracks are recorded according to the order on the selected disc. 3 Press RECORD to start recording. â The REC starts flashing. Â¶ Disc will start playback automatically. 4 Press Ã to stop recording.
Recording from other sources
(only on tape deck 2) 1 Load a blank tape into tape deck 2 with the open side downward. 2 Press CD, TUNER or AUX. Â¶ Start playback of the selected source. 3 Press RECORD to start recording. â The REC starts flashing. 4 Press Ã to stop recording. Notes: â During recording, it is not possible to listen to another source.
Dubbing tapes (from tape deck 1 to tape
deck 2) 1 Press TAPE ( TAPE 1â¢2 ) to select tape deck 2. 2 Load the prerecorded tape into tape deck 1 and a blank tape into tape deck 2 with full spool to the left. 3 Press DUBBING. â "DUB" with "2" scrolling right will be displayed. Â¶ Dubbing will start immediately. â The REC starts flashing. 4 Press Ã to stop dubbing. Notes: â At the end of side A, flip the tapes to side B and repeat the procedure. â Dubbing of tapes is only possible from tape deck 1 to tape deck 2. â To ensure good dubbing, use tapes of the same length. â You can switch to other source while dubbing.
