Thank you for having the manual I needed for an older model Aiwa stero I had found on Ebay --- I wanted the Aiwa because I had tapes and cd's but I did not have a manual as to how to operate the system... I found what I needed and it has enabled me to set the system up for my enjoyment.
The manual was very helpfull, it answerdes all my questions, and i was surprized to find the original manual on this site! Big thumbs uP:)

Playing Karaoke discs
IMPORTANT! You have to turn on your TV and set to the correct Video In channel. (See page 19 âFinding your viewing channelâ). General Operation Vocal You can fade out the original vocal from a karaoke disc. Press VOCAL repeatedly to choose different audio modes. Tip: â This function and on-screen display depends on the availability of the disc. Karaoke menu Press KARAOKE repeatedly to toggle between âMICâ, âVolâ, âEchoâ or âKeyâ. A When âMICâ is selected, press set âMic On/Offâ. A Connect a microphone (not supplied) to MIC on the front panel of the DVD player. B Load a karaoke disc. C Press KARAOKE repeatedly to access Karaoke menu MIC On/Off. âMIC On/Offâ appears on the TV screen. Press to turn âOnâ or âOffâ the microphone. D Adjust the microphone volume up or down using MIC LEVEL button on the side panel of the DVD player. Tip: â Before connecting the microphone, set the microphone volume to the minumum level to prevent howling. to
B When âVolâ is selected, press to adjust the vocal value between 0 and 20. C When âEchoâ is selected, press to adjust the echo level between 0 and 20. D When âKeyâ is selected, press to adjust the pitch value between -16 and 16. This function allows you to adjust the key tone level to match your vocal.
