I AM HIGHLY IMPRESSED BY THE EASE OF USE OF THIS DOWNLOAD SERVICE. INSTRUCTIONS ARE CLEAR AND SIMPLE TO FOLLOW....EVEN BY TECHNOPHOBES SUCH AS MYSELF. THE EMAILS POINT YOU IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION...ITS SO EASY PEASY. THE DOWNLOAD CHOICE OF USER MANUALS IS EXTENSIVE AND I COULD NOT FIND A CHEAPER OR MORE EFFICIENT SERVICE ON THE INTERNET. I COULD NOT HAVE MADE A BETTER CHOICE OF INFORMATION PROVIDER. SHOULD I EVER NEED ANOTHER USER MANUAL, THEN THIS IS THE FIRST CHOICE SITE. COULD NOT BE BETTER PLEASED!!!!!!!...MANY THANXES FROM JIM BURNS

l

After a short recording on a new disc, a few minutes will be needed to complete the formatting of the disc.

Recording
Insert a recordable DVD+RW disc. Use CHANNEL 3 or CHANNEL 4 (on the recorder) or P+, P- or the digit keys 0-9 (on the remote control) to select the programme number (programme name) from which you wish to record. ‰ When a TV channel transmits a channel name, it will be shown on the display.

Direct record l Make sure ‘Direct record’ is switched On. (See record settings). l On the TV set, select the programme number you want make the recording from. l Press RECORD (on recorder) or REC/OTR (on remote control) with the DVD recorder switched to standby. Notes: - Don’t select another programme number on your TV set, until ‘WAIT’ on the display of your DVD recorder disappears. This can take up to one minute. - When ’NOTV’ appears on the display, the programme number could not be found. The DVD recorder switches off automatically. - If your loudspeakers are connected (via an amplifier/ receiver) to your DVD recorder, the sound will be delayed relative to the TV picture when recording directly from the TV set.
