Having bought a pre-owned Sony FM stereo tuner through eBay, it came without any manuals. It soon became clear that to get the best from this excellent tuner I needed a decent manual because much of the operation was not intuitive to a newboy to hi fi like me. I managed to download the official Sony multi-lingual manual from Owner-Manuals.com with no problem at all - a really quick and easy service. I'm very glad I did because I found out all the operations of the tuner and was then able to not only set it up quickly but also to get much more from it that poke-and-hope trialling would ever achieve. In my book $4.99 very well spent.

� The system can be used as an alarm clock, whereby the CD, TUNER, USB or DOCK is switched on at a set time (one time operation). The clock time needs to be set first before the timer can be used. � During setting, if no button is pressed within 90 seconds, the system will exit timer setting mode automatically.

Press TIMER for more than two seconds. Press SOURCE repeatedly to select the sound source. � �SET TIMER� and �SELECT SOURCE� are displayed. Press TIMER to confirm your desired mode. � The clock digits for the hours flash. Press ALBUM/PRESET +/- (or ¡ / � on the remote control) to set the hours. Press TIMER again. � The clock digits for the minutes flash. Press ALBUM/PRESET +/- (or ¡ / � on the remote control) to set the minutes. The clock can be set in either 12-hour or 24-hour mode (12HR or 24HR for example).
� In standby or during playback, press TIMER once on the remote control. � Display shows if activated, and disappears if deactivated.

Press ALBUM/PRESET +/- (or ¡ / � on the remote control) to select clock mode. � The clock digits for the hours continue to flash.
