Having bought a pre-owned Sony FM stereo tuner through eBay, it came without any manuals. It soon became clear that to get the best from this excellent tuner I needed a decent manual because much of the operation was not intuitive to a newboy to hi fi like me. I managed to download the official Sony multi-lingual manual from Owner-Manuals.com with no problem at all - a really quick and easy service. I'm very glad I did because I found out all the operations of the tuner and was then able to not only set it up quickly but also to get much more from it that poke-and-hope trialling would ever achieve. In my book $4.99 very well spent.
This manual is immaculate in it's accuracy. Everything is written very clearly and easy to understand. Written by a professional who wants to convey a clear and easy to understand message!!

VOEDING
Batterijen (optioneel)
Open het batterijvakje van het toestel en leg er 6 batterijen van het type R20, UM-1 of D-cel (bij voorkeur alkaline) in. Verwijder de batterijen als zij leeg zijn of als het toestel lange tijd niet in gebruik wordt genomen.

Batterijen niet weggooien, maar inleveren als KCA.
Stroomnet
1 Controleer of de op het typeplaatje aangegeven netspanning met uw plaatselijke netspanning overeenstemt. Is dit niet het geval, raadpleeg dan uw dealer of service-organisatie. Het

typeplaatje bevindt zich op de onderzijde van het toestel.
2 Is het toestel van een VOLTAGE keuzeschakelaar A voorzien, stel deze schakelaar dan op de plaatselijke netspanning in. 3 Sluit de stroomkabel op de AC MAINS ingang en het stopcontact aan. Hierdoor wordt de stroomvoorziening ingeschakeld. De stroomkabel bevindt zich binnenin het batterijvak. De voeding via batterijen wordt uitgeschakeld op het moment dat het toestel op het net wordt aangesloten. Om naar batterij-voeding te wisselen moet de stekker uit het AC MAINS stopcontact van de eenheid worden getrokken. Om het toestel compleet van het net te scheiden moet de stekker uit het stopcontact worden getrokken. Nederlands 45
Met het oog op het milieu
Wij hebben de hoeveelheid verpakkingsmateriaal zoveel mogelijk beperkt en ervoor gezorgd dat de verpakking gemakkelijk in 3 materialen te scheiden is: karton (doos), polystyreenschuim (buffer) en polyethyleen (zakken, plastic folie).
Uw apparaat bestaat uit materialen die door een gespecialiseerd bedrijf gerecycled kunnen worden. Informeer waar u verpakkingsmateriaal, lege batterijen en oude apparatuur voor recycling kunt inleveren.
