Thanks so much for the Owner's manual for my Sony PS - FL1. I had purchased the turntable off of eBay. It came in and looked great. Packed well and appeared to be great. I balanced and aligned the tone are and hooked it up. When trying to play a record the tone are would move to the right place and just before it would drop to play it moved back off the edge of the record before touching down. I searched the net for an answer to this issue. No luck. Then I purchased the owners manual and sure enough there was a place to adjust where the stylus touched down. That adjustment solved the problem and saved me a $35 feet to have the player checked out. The manual is well written and easy to understand. It is a must have for anyone with this front loading Sony turntable.

Some years back I pruchased a Sansui G-9000. I had it cleaned up and a problem with the left channel repaired. When I got it back I hooked it up to my tape decks, turn tables, TV and it played great. The only thing I was not really satisfied with was the performance of my Graphic Equalizer. I purchased this owner's manual had poured myself a cup of coffee. The manual is well organized and written in plain language. It also contained the solution to my dissatisfaction. By using the preamp connections coupled I was able to run everything through my graphic equalizer and now enjoy the full potential of my complete system.

An excellent service for the price, however, it would also have been handy if the troubleshooter pages were included. The manual is only sent in the language of your country, thus it looks as though there are some pages missing. Otherwise highly recommended.

Description des réglages: � NIVEAU: pour équilibrer le son entre les différents haut-parleurs (voir ci-dessous). � EGALISEUR: pour régler la tonalité du son (de grave: 120 Hz à aigus: 10 kHz). � MODE SURROUND: pour sélectionner les différents modes surround (voir page suivante). � DELTA VOLUME (différence de volume): permet de compenser les écarts de volume qui existent entre les différents programmes ou les prises EXT. Ce réglage est opérationnel pour les programmes 1 à 40 et les prises EXT. � M�MORISER: pour mémoriser les réglages du son � AVL (Automatic Volume Leveler): contrôle automatique du volume qui permet de limiter les augmentations du son, en particulier lors des changements de programmes ou des publicités. � FILAIRE: pour ajuster les différents paramètres des haut-parleurs surround sans fils (voir p.17). � DELAIS: pour ajuster le retard de l�effet surround sur les haut-parleurs arrières (31 est la valeur par défaut).
é Utilisez les touches IJ pour sélectionner un réglage et les touches KL pour régler. Remarque : pour accéder au réglage AVL, FILAIRE et DELAIS (masqué en bas de l�écran), maintenez appuyée la touche J. Les réglages FILAIRE et DELAIS ne sont disponibles que si les haut-parleurs surround sont connectés au téléviseur. Le réglage D�LAIS n�est disponible qu�en mode DOLBY PRO LOGIC et HALL SURROUND. � Une fois les réglages effectués, sélectionnez le choix M�MORISER et appuyer sur L pour les enregistrer. � Pour quitter les menus, appuyez sur R.
Réglage des niveaux
Ce menu vous permet d�équilibrer le son entre les différents haut-parleurs. & Appuyez sur H, sélectionner SON (J) et appuyez deux fois sur L. Le menu NIVEAU apparaît.

Remarque : la voie arrière n�apparaît que si des haut-parleurs surround sont connectés au téléviseur. Pour changer de mode, appuyez sur la touche ). � Sélectionner BALANCE, CENTRE ou ARRI�RE et utilisez les touches KL pour ajuster séparément le niveau de chaque voie. Le séquencement s�arrête le temps du réglage puis reprend automatiquement. � Pour arrêter le test, appuyez sur H. Vous pouvez également ajuster les niveaux sans utiliser le signal de test.
